We are proud to introduce our second coffee from Honduras. The Los Pinos farm is owned and run by Iris Dariela, and young and innovative farmer who is stir crazy about quality. Los Pinos placed second in the Honduras Cup of Excellence in 2018, showing the pedigree of their terroir, farming and processing practices. This Leopard Geisha was given its name after Iris first saw the coffee after processing. The extended anaerobic fermentation has caused the beans to have a speckled exterior similar to that of the notorious feline’s fur. This processing has developed the tropical notes natural present in the geisha varietal, whilst adding layers of chocolate, lactic notes and a herbaceous undertone.
